Tennis elbow is the common name for the inflammation or injury of elbow tendons, which connect the extensor muscles to the lateral epicondyle or outside of the elbow. It can be found in anyone who's professional or recreational activity involves repetitive elbow use (weight lifting, hammering, etc.) can lead to lateral epicondylitis.
The brace is used to provide compression over the muscle belly of the wrist extensors and relieve the stress on the tendons that attach to the lateral epicondyle.
